Avoid getting your mood jewelry wet. Water can neutralize the bonding materials used to hold your ring together. Also, avoid extreme cold as your ring will freeze and could break. Like most costume jewelry, treat your mood jewelry gently. With adjustable rings, find the size you need then avoid bending the band as much as possible. To clean your mood jewelry, wet a cotton ball or soft cloth with alcohol and gently rub the inside of the band on your ring or the studs of your earrings. Cleaning will stop the discoloration effect most costume jewelry can produce.
